Never train alone: bring a friend in September for a third off

Overindulged on your summer holidays? Time to go back to school and back on the wagon ready to get fat again at Christmas.

When you refer a friend (who currently doesn’t have a membership at Momentum*) to either our Old Street or Hackney gyms between now and the end of September 2018, we’ll give you both a third off a membership for one month (or a third off a class pack purchase, if you prefer).  That is a sweet enough deal to kick anyone’s fitness goals in the nuts. Never train alone. You know it makes sense.

To get sweaty on this deal you’ll need to mail the mighty Elena with the name of your friend and which membership they want to purchase and she’ll sort out your discounts.

* This means anyone who doesn’t hold a membership or class pack at either Momentum Old Street or Momentum Hackney at the time of the launch of this offer, 24 August 2018. It’s fine to include friends who have previously held a membership at Momentum but have since left – we’d love to see them back again.

Welcome to Phase 4, week 9 of our 2018 training plan.

Week 9. And we have made an executive decision – which basically means me and Josh have had a chat over a brew – and decided to go a bit of piste for the final 2 weeks of August. Some of you may reconcile this as a bit of a momentum mash up.

We will be covering all your lifting bases and giving you a choice of either lifting some heavy metal with 1reps lifts (these don’t need to be 1rpm efforts but they need to be in the 90% bracket) or you can go for a higher rep range.

Welcome to Phase 4, week 8 of our 2018 training plan.

Week 8. The gyms are buzzing for this time of year, which is a great thing. We love the idea that training for many of you peeps has become a way of life and a daily habit – and not just a sessional panic experience.

 

This week we are asking – or in Kat’s case, telling – you to put a few more kgs on to those bars and really move some metal (always with the caviat of form, form and form, of course). There are some hard and gassy WODs. If they look simple on paper, it’s an indication that they ain’t…
