YOU CAN’T OUT TRAIN A BAD DIET!
Enter the Paleo Diet…
Look AWESOME, feel AWESOME and perform AWESOME. What is there not to love about a Paleo lifestyle?
Our ancestors’ bodies were fueled by healthy primal foods, which allowed their bodies to work at peak efficiency all the time. Their bodies were perfectly adapted to the food they ate not from the “food stuff” modern technology feeds us with today.
Our ancestors were STRONGER, LEANER, FITTER and HEALTHIER than the people in our modern society. They did not suffer from chronic or degenerative diseases such as diabetes, cancer or heart disease. These diseases emerged only when we shifted to modern methods of food production – modern diseases are the result of a mismatch of our genetic makeup and our lifestyle.
The foods our ancestors consumed remain to be the foods best adapted for our metabolism today. They did not have any dairy products, grains or processed foods, as these only appeared with agricultural advancements and the domestication of animals.

Who is Let Her Eat Clean?
Ruth describes herself as a CrossFitting, clean eating lover of life. But it’s not always been this way.
Aged 17 Ruth weighed nearly 15 stone. By her 18th birthday Ruth had dropped over 5 stone in 6 months via a low fat, calorie controlled diet. Years and years of yo-yo dieting misery followed. Ruth’s life was dominated by cycles of binge eating and calorie restriction. There seemed no other way to maintain a ‘healthy’ weight – or so she thought…
In 2011 Ruth bought Loren Cordain’s ‘The Paleo Diet For Athletes’ and everything changed for the better. Ruth started to enjoy real, whole foods and got stronger and leaner in the process. A year later, Ruth ran three marathons in three months, training 6 days a week, for 21 weeks, hitting PR after PR.
2013 required strength of a different kind as Ruth lost her Mum to pancreatic cancer. Losing her Mum to cancer gave Ruth a new sense of purpose – keen to do everything in her power to keep herself and others in tip top condition. She left the bright lights of the City for a new life on the green(er) grass of home in South Wales. Ruth is now studying at the British College of Nutritional Health to become a nutritionist.
Ruth hasn’t weighed or measured herself in nearly a year – but is wearing a jeans size smaller. Ruth is passionate about real, whole foods, sharing stories and helping other people to feel as awesome as she does when she gets out of bed each morning.
