Barbell club

November is the final month of this five-month cycle and the annual journey towards a new 1RM.

 

Since it is a five week month you will be doing 8 sets of 2 reps for the first three weeks and 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 in the last two weeks. The spreadsheet details how to approach these sets but see how you feel on the day and adjust the weight up or down accordingly.

Since the gym will be much colder this month and you will be working towards some big weights there is a programmed warm up to complete before the main lifts.

New members can complete the warm up with the rest of the class but the coach will give you a more appropriate rep range for the main lifts.
