Barbell Club – January 2024
The new ‘high vibe’ BBC was a success in December so we will continue the same theme into the new year. New exercises and new timings but the same format of setting yourself up for all three exercises and the coach calling out the clock for when to start and stop. Thursday mornings will remain a pop playlist by popular demand.
The A1 exercise should be heavier than last month. Aim for 5-6 reps. If you finish in less than the 30 secs allocated for that set that is ok. No stopping early for the 60 or 120 secs though.
For the YGIG element, I will find you a partner and you do your reps then they do theirs then you do yours then they do theirs back and forth until the time cap. Do not put the weight down – keep hold of your DBs/BB while your friend performs their reps.
The 11 min warm-up and set-up cap is non-negotiable. Set up before you chat.
