Welcome to February. I can’t believe that I am saying this but the second month of the year is here already. We’re going to have a few changes to the programming with some options to take on either the Strength & Technique program or take on the slightly more advanced Conditioning program.
It goes without saying that from those regulars and those who know their scales on given movements I would like to see you taking on some of these conditioning pieces and challenging the norm.
You’ll see the Gymnastics levels score sheet at the bottom of this program. If you have not printed this and completed some of the tests I would like to you do so in class and I will allocate some time for you to work your way through think over the next 6 weeks.
Section #1 – Warm Up – Monday and Wednesday
First up we are going to take ourself through 10-15 min mins of:
3mins and or 30 DU practice:
- Prone Tennis Ball Drill:
- Turkish Get Ups
- Hanging Scapular Retractions
- Kick Through
- Reverse Bridge

Conditioning Complex: Complete 5 rounds of:
1 – 7 Toes to Bar + 6 Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups + 5 Bar Muscle-ups (unbroken if possible).
2 – 5 Ring MU + 4 Dips + 3Chest 2 Rings + AMRAP T2R
3- 8 x HSPU + 8 xRing MU + 5m Handstand Walk
4 – 10 x Butterfly Kip + 10 x Kipping Pull up + 10 Pull Up
Finishers:
