WHAT IS OUR CROSSFIT FOUNDATIONS COURSE AND WHO IS IT FOR?

Our course is a comprehensive introduction to simple and complex lifting (more detail below) and it is suitable for anyone, regardless of fitness level or prior gym experience, Looking to get into CrossFit. Read on to find out more.

 

WHAT DOES THE COURSE INVOLVE?

1.5-2 hours with us to get you that basic understanding of what is needed to get through a CrossFit and Barbell Club class. During this time, we will go over the below to make sure you are ready to head on into class. We will also have some Q&A time at the end to answer any questions you might have about Momentum Training and the class offerings we have.

In the first hour we will go over the following:

LOWER BODY:

Back squat
Front Squat
Over Head Squat
Deadlift

UPPER BODY:

Strict press
Push press
Push Jerk
Split Jerk

 

OLYMPIC LIFTING:

Snatch
Clean + Jerk
Thruster
